Session Summary

Machine tools are constantly optimized to maximize value-adding activities in production. An intelligent manufacturing assistant for machine tools has been developed, which allows an individual efficiency improvement. Through an ontology-driven architecture a self-learning AI concept with high transferability was implemented, which allows to analyze wearing components dynamically based on sensor data. The results are used to give recommendations for action at the machine.
